French Center Parcs: The Perfect Family Holiday Near Paris & Disney

We booked a French Center Parcs mostly because it was a lot cheaper - and chicer - than the UK version, and because it conveniently put Paris and Disney within easy reach. What we didn’t expect was just how incredible it would be. It felt less like a budget compromise and more like a hidden gem — somewhere between a scaled-down Kinderhotel and a surprisingly chic Soho Farmhouse, with bikes, Land of Legends adventure playgrounds, a farm and more activities than we could have ever fitted in! Florida without the Theme Parks, the best Beaches…

We spent Christmas in Florida and it was just such a dream. The houses are fully decorated, Americans go ALL out, it’s warm and sunny. I used to holiday there as a child so it was fun to revisit all of my favourite spots with my own children. Here’s a look at our favourite beaches, towns and children’s museums. There’s so much more to Florida than Disney but these would make for a great second week if you are there doing the theme parks.

Le Lavandou, the French Riviera on a budget

I first discovered Le Lavandou from a very kind follower who shared it with us as a place we’d probably love to visit and she certainly wasn’t wrong. It ticked pretty much all of our holiday boxes!

Soller and Port de Soller, Mallorca

A little trip recap of a delayed babymoon in the most beautiful AirBnB - thanks covid - that ended up being our first trip as a family of 4! We love Soller and had been there before as a couple pre kids. It’s such a gorgeous part of Mallorca, the orange grove surrounded town is beautiful, you can walk to the beach or jump on the tram and it reminds us of Palm Springs with all the mountains and palms everywhere you look.

Taormina, Sicily with Kids

Last May half term, we had the most beautiful week staying in Mazzaro, the beach just below Taormina in Sicily. Whilst it absolutely wins on scenery and had been on my list to visit for years after we fell in love with the Amalfi Coast {of which it feels quite similar}, I wouldn’t say that Sicily is the most child friendly place we’ve ever been to. It’s very much old school charm. We knew that before we booked! But here are some things that our children {aged 4 & 2 at the time} really enjoyed and some top tips if you’re planning to visit…
